Overview - HARLEY KIDS: Ride with The HEROES
This is a ride event organized by HOG Malaysia in collaboration with Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur and the Malaysian Fire Department (BOMBA) especially for our little Harley Kids; to create an awareness, and appreciation to our local fire-fighting heroes.
Aside from this, the event will bring families closer and provide an avenue for families to do something exciting together. Kids will be given a chance to get-to-know and experience what it is like to be a fireman A convoy of Harley-Davidson bikes will deploy from HDKL HQ in PJ and make their way to converge with the BOMBA Convoy (made up of bikes and fire-trucks) and the entire convoy will be parading into the Putrajaya fire station in one massive joint convoy.
This would be a sight to behold as new Harley-Davidson owners, existing HOGs members, families & children, the Jabatan Bomba Dan Penyelamat Malaysia as well as the invited press members, will ‘combine forces’ and ‘ride’ as one hence the theme ‘Ride with the Heroes’. Road users will be awed by our awesome convoy and they will bear witness to the unmistakable rumble and roar from the renowned Harley-Davidson V-Twin engines as they eat up the miles and make their way to Putrajaya.
There will be special activities lined up at the Balai Bomba Putrajaya like fire-fighting demonstration and kids will also get a chance to ride a fire-truck, and be one step closer to the our Malaysian fire-fighting heroes.
