RIDE Plan - Why it is important

Planning your ride is very important. A good ride planning will ensure a smooth ride especially when riding in group.

Though the Ride Planner has several functions, the main feature is its ability to create a complete Ride Plan with maps and directions.

Your Plan begins with your choice of a starting point and destination. Once these are chosen, your route is mapped on the most direct roads between these points.

You can customize your Plan by adding stops along your route. You can choose stops at a custom address, a location (such as a Harley-Davidson Dealership) or an event by selecting the appropriate tab on the Ride Plan Overview page. Further customize your Plan by changing the roads used along any segment of your route. Select the CHANGE ROADS tab from the Ride Plan Overview page, Segment Details page or

Stop Details page and select the segment you wish to modify. If you have a Harley-Davidson profile you can use it to save your Plan for future reference or updates; you will have the opportunity to create a profile if you do not already have one. Saving a Plan will also enable you to share your Plan with other people.
