This weekend i'll be testing the new Harley-Davidson XR1200 courtesy of NAZA Prestige Bike for the WTR Magazine. Hope to have some fun with this fast bike and will share the updates with you soon....!!

Basic Riders Course - Finally in Malaysia...!!!

Learning in progress - the 1st Basic Riders Course for Harley owners in Malaysia

Finally, after few months of preparation, self research through reading and on-line learning, data collections, discussion among new and season riders between Harley-Davidson owners and sharing experience sessions.... I at last managed to complete, designed, developed, and conducted the very 1st Basic Riders Course to a few new Harley owners at Harley-Davidson of Kuala Lumpur last weekend.

The 1 1/2 day course went very well with Bro. Nawi ( past HOG My Safety Officer) and Bro. TJ were also busy helping me as my assistance facilitators.

Although the course contents and materials were made and arranged in a such structured manner for it to become like a formal class, this course however failed to attract more riders to join. What a sad and dissapointed feeling we have as there are about 2000 plus registered Harley owners in Malaysia, out of that 200 are current HOG Malaysia Chapter members, only 17 managed to give verbal confirmation to join and during the course day there were only 6 person appeared in the lecture halls.

Anyway, looking at it positively, perhaps this course is still new and most of the Harley owners didn't aware much about it, hence an agressive selling need to be done to get more participation in future program.

Well, i would like to thank d HD of Kuala Lumpur and their staff for organizing a such high value program, thank you too to all 6 Harley owners that participated in this course and spent your wekend with us to improve your riding skill. Not forgetting to Bro. nawi and Bro. TJ for their dedication and willingness to sacrifice their weekend for helping me running the course smoothly.
